Tinto Hill (711m) is the walk on our doorstep. The main path starts at the Fallburn car park just off the A73, a few minutes’ drive away, and takes around three to five hours there and back — with the Tinto Hill Tearoom waiting at the bottom.

Within half an hour you can climb Tinto Hill, browse Biggar’s independent shops and museums, visit the UNESCO World Heritage village of New Lanark and the Falls of Clyde, or explore Scotland’s highest village at Wanlockhead.
